Sold as a set (kit covers both sides). This wiring kit adds the missing wires to your GM door harness for upgrading from small mirrors to towing mirrors. This is required for 2019 2020 2021 2022 Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks upgrading to towing mirrors.

This kit adds the running lights, turn signals, and cargo lights features for the towing mirrors. This kit is all that is required for 2020+ Silverado or Sierra 1500 trucks originally equipped with bed illumination. 2019 trucks also need the RZY harness (reference below FAQ for more details).

Why spend $200+ on replacing your door harnesses when you can just add the missing wires for a fraction of the price? This harness can be used at a significant cost savings instead of installing GM OEM part numbers 84622369, 84622370, 84622376, 84622380, 84622371, 84622372

FAQ

This harness is designed to work with 2019-2022 Silverado/Sierra 1500.

If you have a 2019 you will also need our RZY harness. You have the option to purchase it in the options above.

Please note, you must have power-adjusting mirrors for this harness to work (glass movement with switch). This does NOT work on 2022+ refreshed trucks.

This harness adds the turn signal, running light, and cargo light.

The features of your original mirrors will work plug and play, as long as you purchase towing mirrors also equipped with those features.

No, we do not currently have an upgrade path for power fold or spot lights.

Yes, but you will also need the RZY harness. You have the option to purchase it in the options above.

No! Our harnesses are specially designed to avoid the need for a reflash. Although the GM dealer may tell you it's necessary, it is NOT when using our harnesses.

Take a look in your bed and see if you have them. Those who don't originally have bed illumination require an additional harness (available in the options above).

Seems pricey at first but, after consideration, well worth the price

At first blush, this harness seems quite pricey for what you get. Sixty dollars for a little bit of wire with some electrical connectors seems outrageous until you start looking at what it would take to build it yourself. What I actually found when I looked into piecing this together is that I'd have spent more than half the cost of this kit in order to buy everything along with the pinning kit and the tool needed to put them together. Couple that with a few reviews I found that indicated the pins in the pinning kit from Amazon aren't actually truly the correct size and don't want to stay inserted into the factory harness and it makes this $60 kit more appealing. Finally, for me it came down to the fact that we're paying for the engineering time that Boost no doubt put into the research and development for this harness, and I decided that $60 for this wasn't such a bad deal after all. As far as installation goes, the how-to video (GM Tow Mirror Plug & Play Wiring Upgrade (Spot Light Without Puddle) 2019-2022 Silverado Sierra 1500) was clear and made the process easy. My only issue is that on my 2019 model Silverado, when I got to the step to install the jumper between the black and gray BCM connectors, I didn't have the indicated wire in the black connector. Boost doesn't tell us what functionality that jumper enables but I have a suspicion it's to power the puddle lights, as that was the only thing that didn't work on my new mirrors. I did find a work-around for the puddle lights though. On the wiring harness that plugs into the mirrors themselves, I jumpered pins 5 and 16 together. Had I known to do this pre-installation I'd have just connected the pin 5 wire directly to the white wire in pin 16 using a single t-connector and left the wire that was originally in pin 13 disconnected entirely. As it was, I snipped that original pin 13 wire below my t-connector because I wasn't sure if backfeeding power through it could potentially cause an issue. Note that this long-winded explanation likely only applies to some 2019 GM trucks, but I wanted to get this out there in case anyone else runs into the same issue I had.
