From the factory, the power running board lights only turn on when you unlock or remote start the truck. Once the truck is running and driving with the headlights on, the running board lights shut off and do not stay illuminated.
After installing the OEM Running Board Light Mod, your running board lights will illuminate anytime your headlights or parking lights are on. You still retain all factory functionality for unlock and remote start lighting, but now the boards stay lit while driving at night or whenever your lights are on for added visibility and style.
Additionally, you can opt for our override switch for even more control, allowing you to turn the running board lights off whenever you choose.

- 2019-2021 Silverado/Sierra 1500 trucks are Non-Refreshed.
