How to Identify If Your 2022 Chevy/GMC Truck is a Limited or Refreshed Silverado or Sierra
Use the below information to determin if your truck is a 2022 Limited (OLD) or a 2022 Refreshed (NEW). There are a few key components that are visually different between the Refreshed 2022 trucks and the Limited 2022 trucks. The refresh only applies to 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Trucks at this time. The exterior changes may appear subtle between the two trucks, but it's important to know which you have to get the right parts for your vehicle.

Interior: Both GMC & Chevrolet Trucks
The Limited models have a smaller display screen measuring about 8" across. The driver display and guages are not completely digital on the limited models either. The tachometer and speedometer still use a mechanical design. The newest model has a 13.4" display in the center of the dash. The driver display is now completely digital and is now 12.3" across.
Sierra LTD & Silverado LD
Sierra & Silverado (Refreshed)
Exterior Headlights: GMC Sierra
The bottom section of the headlight assembly is the most noticeable difference. The lower section comes to a sharper curve and more closely resembles a letter "C" shape on the LTD models. The lower section of the headlights assembly on the new model extends further down. As well as the new model headlights are larger and squarer along the edges.

Exterior Headlights: Chevrolet Silverado
On the Chevrolet trucks, the consistent difference is the headlights. The LD models have an additional light below the main headlight assembly. The new refreshed trucks do not have this light on any of the trim levels. Chevy offered other front end body styles on the Limited trucks, but this is the only body style that will appear for the 2022 Refreshed trucks.
