We use the OEM connector to unlock the plug and play features on your Silverado or Sierra.
Power Feature: All vehicles that originally came with power adjust mirrors will plug and play for this feature. Please note memory, seat recall, and curbview assist are not supported.
Defrost Feature: All vehicles that originally came with rear window defrost will be plug and play for defrost. Even if your original mirrors didn't have defrost, the heat function will work on ours if you had rear window defrost!
Yes, these mirrors can be extended to a length 4" beyond the retracted state.
No trucks require BCM calibrations with Boost Auto Parts mirrors.
Our diesel mirrors are equipped with an ambient air temperature sensor which is prewired and placed behind the glass before we ship the mirrors to you.
Our mirrors (if specifying diesel) are fully compatible with RPO code K40 (Diesel Exhaust Brake) and will NOT cause a check engine light.
Typical install time on these mirrors is about 1 hour, but those who have experience with door panel removal may be able to install in less than 30 minutes!
These mirrors do not have any lights which allows full plug and play functionality.
