FAQ

How will the lights function after I install this?

Any time the park lamps come on your fog lights will come on. This means if you leave your switch in "auto" mode, the fog lights will always be on at night.

How long does installation take?

About 5 minutes following our video!

Help! I installed it and it's not working properly.

Please verify that you installed it based on the pin locations, NOT the wire colors. GM sometimes changes wire colors however the pin locations always remain the same.

Please contact us if you have verified you connected to the proper pin locations and are still having issues.

The item works great. It would be nice if it had a little bit of wire built into it to be able to route it better after crimping the wire taps in. It’s had to pre plan where the wire taps are going to face so the short jumper can be plugged in. 4” of wire would help and just zip tire up the slack would be perfect

My chevy is a 2014 Silverado Lt but the video for installation is from a different model like 2019 if I follow the video is going to work?

If you truck is a 2014 1500, you need to follow the video for 2014-2019 trucks. If your truck is a 2014 2500 or 3500, you need to follow the video for 2007.5-2014 trucks. If neither of these match, please reach out to us at support@boostautoparts.com.

For your application, you would follow the video linked here: https://youtu.be/X2lEyH-jO1o You would connect to the wires in pin 10 and pin 22 on the brown BCM connector. The blue ring would face the wire in pin 10.

Can this harness be used to wire the fog lights to the daytime running lights so that any time the vehicle is running those fog lights will come on?

Do you loose the fog light indicator on the dash once the kit is installed?

The fog lamp indicator would not illuminate with the module installed. It will illuminate if the fog lights are manually commanded on.

I have a 2021 Yukon Denali, their aren't wires on those pins shown to splice to on the connector. Even pin out plug map is different , what two pins do I need to jumper ?
