Our exclusive Start-Up Sequence is a unique light function that activates anytime the parking lights of your truck are initially turned on. We've included a dynamic image depicting the Start-Up Sequence on our lights.

If you just have the running lights on the light will be a solid white strip. If you activate the turn signal while the running lights are on the white light will turn off, and the amber light will flash. After the signal turns off the white light will turn back on.

If your running lights are off the amber signal light will flash like a normal signal.

The paint code for your truck can be found on the service parts identification sticker in the glove box. We've attached an image depicting where the paint code is located on the sticker. The paint code can be found at location 16. If you're unsure of your paint code, simply type your vehicle's color.

We use your vehicle's VIN and paint code to match exactly the factory color it came with. We do not offer an option to paint these in a different color than what the truck was equipped with from the factory.

These are Boost Auto Parts brand switchback reflector lights. These are 100% designed by Boost Auto Parts and are manufactured and sealed using OEM equipment and techniques.

These are NOT marker lights that are cut open and retrofitted with other companies products. These are OEM quality lights that are professionally sealed and built to last.

Installation time varies depending on the current function of your front light. Our installation videos and custom wiring harnesses make the process easy, and our support staff is available for any questions that come up. The below information can be used as a rough guideline:

Absolutely, & install is very easy on 2015+ OEM mirrors that are already properly functioning (running light only on the front, signal only on the glass).

Installation into OEM mirrors is typically 20 minutes per side and requires no cutting, crimping, or soldering.

No, the required harnesses are included with the switchbacks.

First and foremost, these switchbacks are not marker lights that are cut open and retrofitted with strips. These were designed with full intent of operating as switchbacks and are manufactured on an OEM assembly line.

Retrofitted lights often have fitment issues due to excess glue since the lights originally needed to be split open. These lights are sealed with automated equipment and tight tolerances, therefore fitment issues are non-existent.

These lights use 100% OEM sealed connectors, so moisture will never enter around the connector (retrofitters must silicone around the connector to try and keep moisture out). These also feature a semi-permeable membrane (the OEM GM lights don't even have this), so if moisture were to ever get in it has a path out (whereas the competition is 100% sealed, so the moisture will stay).

The other switchback lights on the market just come with three loose wires, and it is up to you to splice on extensions and run wires to the correct functions. Included in the price when you checkout is a custom harness specific to your exact setup to ensure a hassle free install. All wires that you will need are included in the package.

The competition requires mounting of external switchback modules inside the mirror to control the lights. Our modules are internal to the lights, so no modules need to be mounted anywhere.
