If you choose Signal Only it will only work as a flashing amber signal.

If you choose Sequential Signal Only it will only work as a scanning amber signal.

If you choose Signal & Running Light the lights will illuminate as an amber running light, and flash as an amber turn signal. Further explained, if you just have the running lights on the light will be a solid amber strip. If you activate the turn signal while the running lights are on the solid amber light will turn off, and the amber light will flash. After the signal turns off the amber light will turn back on. If your running lights are off the amber signal light will flash like a normal signal.

Our Lumastep M1 running boards come with a few different harnesses to make installation as easy as possible. These harnesses tap to each headlight, allowing the turn signal and running lights to function properly.

If you purchase the rock light function, we offer an optional harness with a switch to gain the feature or you can simply power it with any 12V switch (you can use an existing rock light switch if you have it in your vehicle).

Quad Cab (also known as extended cab) trucks allow for rear seating without a full-size rear door. Crew Cab trucks allow for rear seating with a full-size rear door. Crew Cab trucks offer a larger cabin area than Quad Cabs. Please review the below graphic depicting the difference between styles of cabins.

Boost Auto Lumastep Running Boards are not compatible with Regular Cab trucks (without rear seating).

Halogen reflector headlights will use an incandescent bulb which tends to have a yellow beam pattern. Projector headlights will have a cool white beam pattern. Please reference the below graphic depicting the visual difference between Base and Premium headlights.

Our running boards are built with durable 6000 Series Aerospace Grade Aluminum. Once installed on your truck, our running boards are rated for up to 400lbs.

Our Lumastep M1 boards are not power-retractable. Our Powered Running Boards are currently under development. If you would like to be notified once available sign up here.

The rock light feature will allow you to enable the white running board lights at any time! This allows the white lights to turn on and stay on, even when the truck is off.

The rock light feature overrides the rest of the functions of the board such as the running light and turn signal. This means that the signals will not illuminate when activated if the rock lights are on. If your running boards are equipped with amber running lights, the rock lights will illuminate white, overriding the amber color.

From the factory, RAM has already pre-drilled holes for the lower bracket bolts on most trucks. There is a small number of trucks that were not pre-drilled from factory. These trucks will require drilling for the installation.

Headlight removal is required to get access to the headlight connectors for the installation of our harnesses. The removal is simple with our easy-to-follow installation video.

Our Lumastep M1 Light Up Running Boards are offered for Crew Cab as well as Quad Cab trucks.

Crew Cab trucks will receive an 85" Light Up Running Board.

Quad Cab trucks will receive a 78" Light Up Running Board.
