The paint code for your truck can be found on the vehicle information sticker on the driver-side door jamb. We've attached an image depicting where the paint code is located on the sticker. The paint code will be a 3-digit code listed after “paint”. If you're unsure of your paint code, simply type your vehicle's color.

Passive entry allows you to unlock your doors without pressing the unlock button on your key fob. As long as your key fob is nearby (like in your pocket), you can either press the small button on the door handle or, in some cases, just pull the handle open, and the door will unlock automatically, without the need to press the unlock button on your key fob!

Check your front door handles for a small button or sensor. It’s often black but can also match the handle’s color. With your key fob nearby, press the button or pull the handle open. If the door unlocks without using the key fob, your truck has front Passive Entry. If you're still unsure whether your truck has front Passive Entry, contact our support team, and one of our team members will gladly help you confirm.

No, unfortunately, passive entry cannot be added if your truck wasn’t originally equipped with it from the factory.
