· Power Function: If your truck was originally equipped with power mirrors the power function on our mirrors will work properly. Please note our mirrors do not support curbview assist or memory functions. They will still plug and play, but these features will not integrate properly with our mirrors.

· Defrost Function: If your truck was originally equipped with rear defrost the defrost function on our mirrors will work properly.

· Signal Function: If your truck was originally equipped with turn signal, the signal on our mirrors will function properly. If your original mirrors were NOT equipped with signal, this feature must be enabled on your vehicle’s computer which can be easily done with the Boost Auto programming tool and Bypass module (see further info below).

· Rear Facing Puddle Function: If your truck was originally equipped with puddle lamp, the puddle lamp on our mirrors will function properly. If your original mirrors were NOT equipped with puddle, this feature must be enabled on your vehicle’s computer which can be easily done with the Boost Auto programming tool and Bypass module (see further info below).

· Running Light (If Signal & Running Light or Switchback Option is Selected): If your mirrors were originally equipped with running light it will be plug and play. If your mirrors did not originally have running light you must run one wire to a running light power feed (harness included). All wiring internal to the mirror is done; you just need to do the truck side wiring (instructions included).

· Power Folding: Power fold will be plug and play if you select the power folding option and originally had power fold. If you did not have power fold originally you can easily add it using our wireless ECU's.

The paint code for your truck can be found on the vehicle information sticker on the driver-side door jamb. We've attached an image depicting where the paint code is located on the sticker. The paint code will be a 3-digit code listed after “paint”. If you're unsure of your paint code, simply type your vehicle's color.

• If you select the “Paintable” option, you will receive our paintable caps, which are non-textured, so they are fairly ready for you to paint them. They will not match any vehicle straight out of the box, paint is always required.
• If you select the “Painted” option, you will receive the caps painted from us with no additional work needed on your end. We use your vehicle's VIN and paint code to match it exactly to its factory color.

If you originally had turn signal you will NOT require a reflash.

If you did not originally have turn signal, you will need to enable this feature on your vehicle’s computer. You can achieve this yourself using our easy to use programming tool and Bypass module which is offered in the options above. Alternatively, you can ask the dealer to enable the feature, however, this often costs double the cost of our programming tool so we recommend cutting out the headache and purchasing the tool from us.

All other mirrors on the market require a flash regardless of whether you had signal or not for the mirror to work properly in the flipped position. Boost Auto designed sensors which cannot be found anywhere else that are internal to the mirror and allow the mirrors to be controlled properly in the flipped position without a reflash.

Our exclusive Start-Up Sequence is a unique light function that activates anytime the parking lights of your truck are initially turned on. We've included a dynamic image depicting the Start-Up Sequence on our lights.

Please note, the Start-Up Sequence is currently offered on all light functions except Signal Only or Sequential Signal Only.

You can enable these features yourself on your vehicle using our easy to use programming tool and bypass module which avoids costly and timely trips to the dealer.

Our mirrors are equipped with a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is prewired and placed behind the glass before we ship the mirrors to you.

Yes, you can add the power folding feature to a vehicle not originally equipped with it with our wireless upgrade kit. Our wireless upgrade kit takes 20 minutes per side to install and utilizes all factory electronics. The kit includes a module for each door and the modules use your factory power adjust switch to activate the folding feature. The kit is easy to install and does not require any drilling.

Signal Only: The lights will only flash with signal. They will not illuminate as running light.

Signal & Running Light 1.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 50% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal.

Signal & Running Light 2.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 100% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal.

Switchback: The lights will flash as an amber turn signal during the day. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 100% intensity in WHITE for running light. When the turn signal is activated, the lights will operate at 100% intensity in AMBER in a flashing pattern until the turn signal is de-activated (at which point it will return to a solid white light).

It will work like a puddle light. It is plug-and-play if your mirrors were originally equipped with puddle, otherwise, this feature must be enabled on your vehicle’s computer.

Ram does offer a support bracket to support the additional weight of towing mirrors. If you did not originally have towing mirrors, your truck will not be equipped with these brackets.

Most customers find that our mirrors do not require them. However, in order to reduce the amount of vibration on the mirrors some customers do opt to install the support brackets. The support brackets do NOT come with the purchase of the mirrors as most customers don't install them.
