FAQ

· Power Function: If your truck was originally equipped with power mirrors the power function on our mirrors will work properly. Please note our mirrors do not support curbview assist or memory functions. They will still plug and play, but these features will not integrate properly with our mirrors.

· Defrost Function: If your truck was originally equipped with rear defrost the defrost function on our mirrors will work properly.

You will NOT get a check engine light.

Our mirrors are equipped with a temperature sensor where required (2013+ vehicles). The temperature sensor is prewired and placed behind the glass before we ship the mirrors to you.

Yes, these mirrors can be extended to a length of 4" beyond the retracted state.

There is no need for a reflash. These are completely plug & play so long as you originally had power adjust & defrost.

No, you will not receive any error messages. You will also NOT experience hyperflash. It will be plug and play - you'll just lose the lighting features.

Ram does offer a support bracket to support the additional weight of towing mirrors. If you did not originally have towing mirrors, your truck will not be equipped with these brackets.

Most customers find that our mirrors do not require them, however in order to reduce the amount of vibration on the mirrors some customers do opt to install the support brackets. The support brackets do NOT come with the purchase of the mirrors as most customers don't install them.

If you wish to purchase them, you can purchase them from your local dealer along with the supplied hardware by asking for OEM #'s 68078242AA 68078243AA 6508709AA x6 6507161AA x6

The typical installation time on these mirrors is about 1 hour, but those who have experience with door panel removal may be able to install them in less than 30 minutes!

These mirrors do not have any lights which allows full plug and play functionality.

Great so far!

It took more time to get out the needed tools than to actually do the install. Less than 30 minutes if you know what you're doing. They give way more field of view than the factory mirrors. I'll be towing in a couple of days and can't wait to see how well they do with a trailer.

Perfect Fit & Easy Install

The mirrors shipped great and were well packaged. The install was easy using Boost's youtube install video. I've never installed side mirrors, and this took about an hour total. I love these mirrors.
