This heated glass upgrade kit allows you to add defrost lower glass to your OEM or aftermarket Fourth or Fifth Gen style Dodge Ram tow mirrors. This upgrade will make driving during the winter with snow and ice more enjoyable, by giving you a clear view of what is behind you. The glass is convex and follows the OEM design.
Note: Your mirrors must be equipped with defrost on the upper glass for this retrofit kit to work properly.
Kit Includes:
- Drivers Side Heated Lower Glass (Left Side)
- Passengers Side Heated Lower Glass (Right Side)
- Plug & Play adapters for ease of install
Fitment includes the following Ram trucks with OEM or aftermarket mirrors (without power convex/lower glass), and any older Ram truck with aftermarket fourth gen mirrors. (Cummins Diesel trucks are also included). This works with ALL aftermarket & OEM mirrors, and installation takes less than 10 minutes per side. This is an upgrade for OEM part numbers 68067730AA & 68067731AA (non-power convex) & 68460948AA & 68460949AA (power convex).

This can be installed in less than 10 minutes per side.
No, these can be installed with the mirrors on the truck.
OEM & Boost Auto mirrors NEVER require the mount.
Aftermarket mirrors not purchased from Boost Auto Parts may need the replacement mount if the lower glass is secured with a screw behind the glass. The installation video (link above) will show this in detail.
If your truck is 2008 or older the mirrors are certainly aftermarket.
If you are 2009 or newer and do not know, we recommend selecting the option stating you don't know to ensure you receive a harness that will function properly.
The mirror defrost is activated with the rear window defrost button.
The glass is comparable to OEM which is convex.

These defrosters are awesome. When your windows start to fog in the morning or in the rain it will clear them right up. Bought them for upper and lower mirrors. I did not want one clear and one fogged up.
