FAQ
You can find the FCC ID on the back of your original fob. If you don't have an original fob, please contact your local dealer and provide them with your VIN. They will provide you with the OEM part number and we will be able to provide you the correct key fob based on that part number.

GM took away the ability for vehicle owners to program fobs themselves beginning in model year 2011. Typically these vehicles require a trip to the dealership ($100+) to program the fobs using a special tool.
The Boost Auto OBD programming tool plugs directly into your vehicle's diagnostic port and places the vehicle into programming mode so you can program fobs yourself in under 3 minutes. The OBD programming tool can be used as many times as you would like on your vehicle, however, it will only work on one unique VIN so it cannot be used on multiple vehicles.
If you have RPO code ATG or BTV in your glove box then you are equipped for keyless entry. Simply purchase new fobs and follow the programming procedure.
Up to four (4) fobs can be programmed at once.
Yes, you can mix and match any combination of fobs you wish - up to a total of four (4) fobs.
If you have the RPO code BTV in your glove box then your truck is compatible with remote start. Simply purchase the remote start key fobs and program them.
If your truck does not have the BTV RPO code, the remote start feature will not function.
Keyless entry would refer to the ability to enter the vehicle without the need of turning the physical key onto the vehicle’s door lock. Keyless entry allows users to enter the vehicle with the use of a key fob.
Vehicles that are equipped with this feature will be compatible to program our key fobs.
The RPO code is printed on the sticker in the passenger glove box. It is the left sticker in the glove box.
Our fobs generally don't work with aftermarket remote start systems.
The only exception to this, is some systems utilize a triple click of the OEM fob to remote start the vehicle. If you have a system that you use the OEM fob to trigger the remote start (like the one previously mentioned), our fob will also work but you must purchase the one without remote start (you will just triple click the same button sequence as OEM).
The fobs come with a battery pre-installed.
If you find yourself needing to replace the battery at a later point in time, reach out to our support team for guidance on how to replace it.

Quick and easy
Easy to recommend: Cheaper and easier than dealing with the dealer for a FOB programming. Also a nicer looking fob than the old one.
Happy Camper
Worked flawlessly. Way cheaper than a OEM remote FOB. Highly recommended!!
KEY FOB FOR 2015 CANYON
This key fob looked amazing and was super easy to program, but did have to purchase a programmer (worth it though).
No real issues with this unit!
I got this unit for 25% off, I paid $95 for the fob and programmer. So my opinions are based on that price. The Goods: The fob is built very well, way better than the stock one and the buttons have a nice feel to them. Should hopefully last a long time before rubbing off or becoming sticky. The unit has decent range, remote start works every time. No complaints here so far. Programming it was insanely easy, took all of 45 seconds. Buy the programmer, it's worth it. The Bads: The Programmer is one vehicle only. I'm sure there's a reason for it, but still kind of a bummer. The opening to put your key ring through is pretty small. You'll scratch it up real easy and sometimes it'll get caught on your ring and stick out kinda funny. Overall, this product is a really good upgrade if you have some spare money to burn. I wouldn't get it until your stock one is looking a bit abused
