We use the OEM connector to unlock the plug and play features on your Silverado or Sierra.
Power Adjust Glass: All vehicles that originally came with power adjust mirrors will plug and play for this feature. Please note memory, seat recall, and curbview assist are not supported.
Defrost Glass: All vehicles that originally came with rear window defrost will be plug and play for defrost. Even if your original mirrors didn't have defrost, the heat function will work on ours if you had rear window defrost!
Turn Signal: All vehicles that originally came with turn signal will plug and play for this feature. If you didn't originally have turn signal you can add it with our modify door harness kit.
Puddle Light: All vehicles that originally came with puddle light will plug and play for this feature. If you didn't originally have puddle light you can add it with our modify door harness kit.
Power Fold: All vehicles that originally came with power fold will plug and play for this feature. If you didn't originally have power fold you can add it by simply swapping out your factory switch with a power folding switch. We offer the switch in the drop-downs above.
Yes, you can gain the power fold by simply swapping out your factory switch with an OEM power folding switch. We offer the switch in the options above.
No trucks require BCM calibrations with Boost Auto mirrors.
Although our mirrors are not compatible with memory, we still need to know whether your truck has memory or not to get you the correct power folding switch. This is only relevant for 2015 vehicles. If your vehicle is anything other than 2015 you do not need to check to see if it is equipped with memory.
You can check your glovebox RPO code sticker. If you have A45 you have memory. If you don't have A45 then you do NOT have memory.
The memory seat buttons are located next to the driver's door handle. You can look to see if you have buttons that say 1, 2, SET. If you have them, your truck is equipped with memory.
Our mirrors are equipped with an ambient air temperature sensor to ensure you do not get a check engine light. Our mirrors are fully compatible with RPO code K40 (Diesel Exhaust Brake) and will NOT cause a check engine light.
Yes! These mirrors were specifically designed to be a DL8 to DL3 style upgrade.
The typical install time on these mirrors is about 1 hour, depending on whether you need to modify the door harness it could take a bit longer.
