**When using fuse taps, be sure to place the original fuse in the lower slot on the fuse tap**

We recommend watching the above full install video even if your truck is not 2003-2007 or 2007-2014, as you can gather the general idea for how to run the wires into the cab of the truck and through the firewall to the underhood fuse box. The paper instructions you received should specify tap locations for other years.
